I’m very happy that Ledger won, but I’m not sure what all of the talk about everyone being upset was focusing on. I didn’t see this live, and as somber as Nolan’s acceptance speech was, it almost seemed like having him win made all of those actors not know how to react. Kate Winslet and Jeremy Piven, however, did look a bit upset towards the end.
